kyago – The app for mobile internet access
For mobile connections, measurements are possible with the free kyago app. A measurement can be performed independently from the internet access provider as well as the technology.
kyago is an app that lets you quickly, comprehensively measure and analyze mobile internet access on modern smartphones and for every technology - GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, LTE Advanced and WIFI, among others.
With software developed in Germany and a national data referencing system, kyago meets the requirements set by the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC).
All of the Speedtest results can be saved on your smartphone and in the kyago database at zafaco, by location and time. The app is available free of charge and without advertisements.

Identifying coverage blackspots
In addition to measuring mobile broadband access services using a smartphone, the mobile measurement client can be used to identify signal blackspots (areas with no mobile network coverage) and areas with no mobile broadband coverage (2G).
Whilst searching for blackspots, the client collects information on the mobile Internet technology currently in use (no access, 2G, 3G, 4G). Once a blackspot or an area with no mobile broadband coverage is found, the client records anonymised data on the mobile provider, the current mobile internet access technology available and the location.
